Christopher Hanscom is an accomplished attorney with over fifteen years of experience representing clients in civil litigation before the federal, state and local courts in and around New York City. Additionally, Mr. Hanscom developed an extensive background in trusts and estates and estate planning as well as corporate transactional work, including the negotiation and drafting of employment agreements, shareholder agreements and L.L.C. operating agreements, among other things. In late 2011, Mr. Hanscom made a quality-of-life decision and abandoned New York City in favor the beautiful Twin Cities, and immediately became a member of the Minnesota bar.
Whether your legal matter is straight-forward and simple, or entirely convoluted and complex, he brings to bear the experience that can only be gained through litigating before the New York courts for more than a decade, tempered by the understanding that underlying each case is a very human tale of expectations and controversies, that each client has a story to tell, and that each client deserves the opportunity to be heard. As an attorney, Mr. Hanscom's mission is to provide each client with the opportunity to make his or her case clearly, forcefully, and effectively, whether through litigation or through a well-written last will and testament or trust instrument.
